About the Artist

"I'm not performing miracles, I'm using up and wasting a lot of paint." Claude Monet

I love art! I love to make art and teach art and share it with others. I am mostly a self-taught artist. My educational background was in archaeology; a BA in Archaeology from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, and a Master's in Archaeology from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

An avid sketcher and painter since childhood, I began selling watercolors and acrylic paintings professionally in 2016. My studio is in Yucaipa, California, a small foothill community in Southern California. Yucaipa and its neighbors - Oak Glen and Redlands - are some of my favorite places to paint, hike, run, and explore along with my husband and two kids.

I am an active member of Yucaipa Vision Quest and Redlands Art Association and regularly display at their galleries.

I occasionally donate artwork to support local charitable causes. Recent donations include the Rotary Club of Yucaipa, Clearwater Animal Rescue, Guide Dogs of the Desert, United Methodist Women, Thrive Single Moms, Redlands United Church of Christ, and Sierra Madre Civic Club.
